About Me

About Me

I am 27 years old and reside in San Francisco, California with my 8yo Lab-Pit mix, Buju, and two RES turtles, Cheech and Chong. In 2021, I moved into my own studio at Hunters Point Navy Shipyard in San Francisco’s Bayview district, where I am now a proud member of The Shipyard Artist community. When I’m not in the studio or working as a nanny, I love gardening, cooking, reading, postcarding, visiting museums, hanging out with my loved ones, and spending time outdoors. I am a current student at San Francisco State University reaching to obtain a B.A. and M.A. in Humanities with a minor in Museum Studies with hopes to one day work in a San Francisco museum or gallery. I would love to eventually travel abundantly, build a sustainable home, and present my art on a global scale.

Most of my work is made up of abstract, original mixed media drawings and acrylic paintings. Since acrylic dries as a plastic, I recycle 100% of my paint scraps and use them in my work. This not only adds character and texture, but practices sustainability as well (every little thing makes a difference)! For this reason, I unfortunately do not make prints of my paintings. Anything you see on my website or social media is an original artwork.

I also enjoy making surreal-ish collages out of old magazines and dabbling in landscape & architectural photography.

I love art for many reasons. The act of creation conveys itself as an emotional outlet that allows us to express ourselves and allocate our feelings and thoughts in ways that words cannot. Every piece holds it’s own meaning both to myself and whomever takes them home. I am grateful to be able to share myself in such a personal yet simple way.

I am not able to live out my dreams without the support of my family, friends, and clients. Every purchase is a gift and I thank every single one of you who have helped make my dreams possible. This is only the beginning.
